'Nearly old enough for the carousel' by Me

I took my little girl to Brighton on Monday and we had a fantastic time together, especially playing on the beach. She loved the carousel and really wanted to go on the horses but unfortunately for her I decided she wasn't old enough. Anyway, it was just the two of us and I've no idea how I'd get on myself and get her on with me! And I bet there's an age restriction on it too. I promised her we'd go on it soon though!

I like this photo I took of her on the beach as she was watching it go round. The clouds were so interesting that day as I think you can see here. And I love that the carousel is blurred in the background so the picture is still all about her!

  2. She is gorgeous - love her stripes. I have a small obsession with stripy clothes on babies!

  3. They are very high up those horses aren't they? I live in Brighton and my daughters and I had chips on the beach right there the other evening... well until we were attacked by the seagulls. How do you get your profile looking so fab by the way?

  4. i love this photo! along with the story, because she looks like she might be longing after the carousel that lurks so far out and away in the background. and she's so colorful and cute.

  5. She looks so wistful for that carousel! When she gets older, this will be a fun photo to share with her and tell her this story. So sweet!

  13. Ah bless, so sweet! You put her on the horse first, make her hold on the pole, then get on behind her and hold on tight. Think my boys were about 2 when they went on one first and they adored it. x

  15. I adore a Carousel! Last year we holidayed in Cardiff and on Mermaid Quay they have the most amazing carousel, I has to go on and my daughter was desperate too, because she was 2 (almost 3) she was free, no age restriction so we went on twice :-D
