I took this photo in back April. It was a lovely sunny day which makes me realise how lucky we've been this year. Summer obviously started in April and well, it's still gorgeous now. I was really hot today and it's meant to be even lovelier tomorrow. I am going to choose to ignore the rain we saw so much of in August.
Anyway, back to the photo. We'd just been to Drusilla's zoo in East Sussex and had decided to finish off the day with a look around the local village of Alfriston. It's such a pretty little place so I was really pleased I had my camera (like there was any chance I wouldn't have). One of the shops we stopped at had this menu board outside. Well we just had to go in!
So as the title says, I had lemon meringue. What flavour would you have?

Tonight? Capuccino. Tomorrow morning probably that Lemon Meringue! Lovely light in this photo, I can feel that April sunshine!
ReplyDeleteA tough choice, but I'll go for Pecan Praline! A lovely sunny picture. Can't believe it's gone all warm again, I was just starting to look forward to bundling up for winter!
ReplyDeleteOh most definitely toffee crunch (with a little chocolate)! But I'm wondering what honeycomb tastes like, its sounds amazing!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, toffee crunch , cappucino or lemon meringue? Decisions, decisions :)
ReplyDeleteHoneycomb.... yummy :)
ReplyDeleteOoo I would of been standing for ages trying to decided! I would either of gone with the mint choc chip or the honeycomb! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the flavor choices...Hmmmm...I think I'd have to go with my favorite...CHOCOLATE!
ReplyDeleteHow charming! And how wonderful you are having lovely weather! Mint chocolate chip for sure. Thanks for your sweet comment – I wish our post office WOULD choose some better designs for stamps. Nothing like the pretty ones you have. xo – g
ReplyDeleteGlad this picture got you all hungry. I think I'm going to have to go back and try the raspberry cheesecake and also the honeycomb!
ReplyDeleteI drive past Alfriston all the time, I but next time I am thinking I should go and get one of these! Mind you, the weather is not really ice cream friendly at the moment!
