I really want to read more as I love reading. I need to turn off the computer and curl up with a good book more often. I'm currently reading 'The Teatime Islands: Adventures in Britain's Faraway Outposts' by Ben Fogle because I'm fascinated by remote islands. After that I plan to read 'Eat, Pray, Love' by Elizabeth Gilbert basically because I want to know what the hype is all about. And I'd rather read the book than see the film.
If you love books and bookshops like I do then I'm sure you'll love this photo. Can't you just get a sense of that old book smell? Don't you just want to be sat there rummaging through the shelves? And the light shining through the window makes this perfect.
Do you love books? What are you reading?

I am currently reading "The School of Essential Ingredients". I am glad you liked the photo, it's my favorite place to hide and read :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo. The irony is all too apparent as I type but like you I need to switch off the computer and read more! It is my first love. At the moment I am 'reading' a ridiculous amount of books, too many to mention. I get a couple of pages in, fall asleep, then next time I get to read there is something else I have been dying to start! I need to go to bed earlier as I'm not spending enough quality time with my beloved books :(
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have a rummage through that shop! I love reading although I tend to fall asleep with the book on my head these days!
ReplyDeletepretty photo! ^^
ReplyDeleteat the moment I`m reading "gone with the winds", afterwards - probably read something from Coelho, cause, from what I`ve heard, the stuff`s pretty good. :D

Gorgeous photo! So atmospheric!
ReplyDeleteCurrently reading The Deafening (can't remember author), pretty good. Fave book is Thomas Hardy's Jude the Obscure, terribly sad but so moving.
I don't know how I missed this post. I've been in the woods lately. Ugh
ReplyDeletePlease transport me to this book heaven immediately.
xoxo,
Carrie
