I am very annoyed. It turns out I am really am no domestic goddess. I was only baking fairy cakes this evening but got sidetracked and left them in the oven to get burnt. I am very cross with myself but it has inspired me to do a cakey post tonight. This is such a pretty photo. I need to get some cake cases that look like this. Even my cakes would look beautiful then wouldn't they?

Been there, done that! I always try to so hard to do the lovely mummy things like bake cakes and paint with the girls, but invariably I burn the cakes and get paint EVERYWHERE!
