What's that you say? You'd like to see another photo from my visit to Southwold? Oh go on then, if you insist! This sign obviously needed it's photo taken. Even my husband said that when he saw it he knew I'd stop to snap it! It was actually quite hard to capture as there was a phone number at the bottom that I didn't want to get in the shot. It was tricky to keep the camera steady enough to leave it out. I know I could have cropped it out at a later date but I wanted to get it right first time.
Oh and in case you were wondering, I resisted the urge to hire one. Maybe next summer.

'Mellow yellow' by Andrew Areoff
I love my mobile phone. It does all the phone and and internet type stuff I need it to do and it looks rather smart too. I've never really fancied an iPhone.... execept for the camera. The more I see pictures taken on one the more I want one. I love all the effects and ways of photo sharing. This is a fantastic example of why I love iPhone photography. The effect, how ever it's done, is really cool. And I love the angle and the colours. Now as I have no intention of actually getting an iPhone I am wondering whether there are any cool iPhone like cameras out there.

'Little beach hut' by Me
In the absence of any lovely sunshine or indeed trips to the beach I decided to take a photo of my wooden beach hut trinket box to keep the beach hut dreams alive! If I can't have a real life beach hut of my own then this will have to do! This summer I intend to convince my husband we need to visit Southwold as the beach huts there look fantastic. I've also recently seen a photo of some in Southsea which I wouldn't mind taking a photo of. And of course we should go back to West Wittering. The beach there is wonderful and sandy and of course there may just be a few beach huts there as well. Looks like I've got a busy summer ahead - if it would just hurry up now!

'West Wittering' by Me
What's that I hear you cry? I haven't posted a beach hut photo in ages? My gosh you're right, so let's rectify that immediately. Here is a photo I took in West Wittering of possibly the prettiest beach hut ever. I wish I'd got a chance to take more beach hut photos this summer but never mind. Nothing wrong with taking some winter shots if I come across some huts on my travels.
By the way, the observant people out there may have noticed I've posted this photo before as part of this blog entry but I believe such a pretty beach hut deserves a post all of it's own.

'West Wittering' by Me
As promised here is one of the photos I took at the beach yesterday. We went to West Wittering beach in West Sussex which is fantastic as it's so sandy. We built sandcastles, ate ice cream and generally had a fantastic time. Oh and there were beach huts, yay!
I love this photo because it makes the beach look really empty and peaceful when really it was packed with happy people enjoying a day out by the sea.

'Garden Room' uploaded on flickr by Knitty, Vintage and Rosy
You know how I'd really love a beach hut - I know I may have mentioned it once or twice - well if I couldn't have one then this in my back garden would have to do! What a delightful place to relax on a summer afternoon. And you even have somewhere to hide should the rainy British weather strike!

'Beach hut' by Me
It may still be April but it certainly felt like summer today. Therefore, let's get all summery with another beach hut photo. This is one of mine taken last summer in Littlehampton. I love the fantastic bright blue sky and I love the bright colours of the beach hut. Littlehampton has rows of identical beach huts like this and it's impossible to walk by and not take a few photos. I think I am definitely going to take another trip back there this summer.
