I love nail varnish and painting my nails. I go through phases where I do it constantly for months and then stop because I can't be bothered or I want to give my nails a rest. Until Saturday I'd not actually painted my finger nails since my baby was born forut months ago. However, I now feel I am entering a pretty nails phase! The weekend saw me in dramatic black but today I am embracing the last days of summer with a pretty lemon colour on the ends of my fingers.
I am feeling inspired by this gorgeous photo though. I love the different ways the sparkles are shown here. And the turquoise, pink and purple are fantastic colours too. I now feel I may have to wear some sparkles this weekend.

'The sparkle of the sea' by Me
Whenever I'm at the beach on a sunny day I think the sun shining on the sea is so beautiful. Of course I always try and capture it in a photo but it never seems to come out as I hope it would. I had another go on Brighton beach the other weekend and you know what, for once I'm actually quite pleased with the results. What do you think? Have I captured the sparkle of the sea? If not, any good tips for getting it right?

'golden christmas card' by Babycrazy89
In a previous post I said this week's photos were going to be all festive and sparkly and I think I've delivered on the festive bit. Not sure I've given you enough sparkle though. Therefore here's a gold and sparkly photo just for you. I love that the only colour in it is gold really but there's still so much going on.
Only three more sleeps! Yay!
