It is Shrove Tuesday so today has been all about the pancakes. We always make a big deal of this day in our house as it's a food all four of us love equally. In general I do most of the cooking at home but when it comes to making pancakes it is definitely my husband's job as I am really bad at it. I am good at picking what to go on them though. That is why I chose this fab photograph tonight. It is pretty much what we had on ours, except we had chocolate spread as well as the fruit. And of course we had to be a bit traditional and have some with just sugar and lemon too.

So, did you have pancakes yesterday? We did and they were delicious! I love pancakes. I said to myself last night that I wasn't going to be obvious and post a pancake photo but I've since changed my mind as I've been thinking about them all day. Why oh why don't we have them more often? And you know what else I've realised - I don't think I've ever actually had them for breakfast. Now there's something to think about.

So here it is - a lovely pancake photo. I think this is composed really well and I love the idea of the eggs resting in the bowl of flour. And you know what I love the most? The plate and the bowl. Got to get me some red spotty crockery now!

So who had pancakes today? I did! Hubby cooked them as little one and I sat impatiently and looked all hungry. They were worth the wait though as he does make delicious pancakes!

Obvious choice for tonight's photo was a great big pile of pancakes and I thought this one was lovely. Simple with no fuss, it's just all about the pancakes with lots of yummy bananas and syrup on them! I wonder how long the photographer took taking photos before diving right it!
